Wishing you all an amazing Holiday! xo.
Pastels have been proven to be fun and modern, and with Easter company rolling around, here are some fun ways to incorporate a bit of Spring in to your home. Hosting a Sunday Brunch? How adorable is this table setting from World Market, it is completely DIY, and you can find all the accessories you need here.
Adding a comfy blush chair with a fun colorful pillow like these from West Elm, will add some fun Spring pastel to your home and can stay long after by pairing it with a fun white textured throw. These metallic terrariums can not only serve as your fun centerpieces for Sunday Brunch, but then can be placed empty in a cluster of three on your coffee table well into summer.
I am obsessed with designs that are over exaggerated, especially for the Holidays. I am swooning over these Puff Dressing Chairs. They would be adorable flanking you fireplace or paired in front of a window. And c'mon, whether you believe in the Easter Bunny or not, I can not wait to add this Gold Hare Lamp to my Spring Decor, it is just too cute.
Nothing to wear? Check out these adorable Spring dresses from Nordstrom Rack (the pink one is my fave) and I am really feeling the block heel right now, and will pair great with a pastel or neutral outfit. I live in nude lipsticks, but l do love the L'Oreal Paris La Vie en Rose Collection. My absolute favorite is Eva's shade, it has the perfect amount of pink for an afternoon look.

It's not every day you get to walk one of your parents down the aisle. I was fortunate enough to walk my dad down along with my brother on his big day! It was a mix of emotions... mostly excitement and nerves. But most importantly, I felt at peace. I was at peace that my dad has found an amazing woman to spend the rest of his life with, and has someone to share everyday joys with. It's an unforgettable feeling to see and be a part of something so special.
I was given the honor to plan their special day... it's a big deal to plan your dad's wedding, it was like planning mine all over again! I was extremely excited and could not wait to get started.
But first, for those of you who don't know my dad he is an amazing, hardworking individual, who I greatly admire. He is humble, and always has the best intentions in all that he does. He taught me a lot about life at a young age: his work ethic, the importance of family, and of course, how to drive!
When they asked me to help plan the wedding, I immediately started pinning, and gathering ideas. My current color combo obsession at the time was Mint & Coral, so of course, that's what they went with. The venue was at The Seascape Resort in Aptos on the water, so this scheme complimented the entire day beautifully.
This chandelier had to be my favorite part of the ceremony. I purchased this amazing find at an antique shop, and fell in love with it's rustic charm. We placed flowers in place of candles, and along with the beautiful arangment from Eventscapes Inc, this was an amazing arch way to say the I do's under.
Our bridesmaid's dresses were a soft blue with lots of detail that complemented the bride's champagne gown. From my experience, dresses with detail photograph beautifully in the right lighting, and this is a great example. The flower bouquets are a combination of pale pinks and peach, and the bride's got amped up with a few brighter coral flowers.
The reception also took place at Seascape Resort on the second floor, overlooking the ocean during sunset, if you can image, it was breathtaking. The gold chairs we chose are my favorite go to at the moment, they bring elegance and class and really go a long way. The linens are a soft ivory HINT: if your scheme is cool, choose ivory as your main linen, if your scheme is warm, go with a cream.
The Sweatheart table got a little extra love with an embroidered overlay and another beautiful floral arrangement.
Every event needs a Photo Booth. This backdrop was personalizedwith this chic banner where guests were able to have fun and strike a pose. We told guests to use #OrnelasWedding so the couple could enjoy the pictures as well.
Congrats to the happy couple! This day was only the beginning.
Welcome to the good life.
